Winners of the Golden Globe Awards


68 edition of The Golden Globe winners just left, at least in most cases, and the feeling that the Academy Awards, be held on February 27 will not have big surprises but maybe there is a difference with this ceremony.

In the categories of film, "The Social Network" took the prize for Best Film (Drama), beating out other great films like "Black Swan", "The Fighter", "Inception" and "The King's Speech" while "The Kids Are All Right" was recognized as the Best Picture (Musical or Comedy). For its part, the Danish "In A Better World" was honored as best foreign film, beating on "Biutiful" and "The Concert", both with great potential, and "Toy Story 3" was named Best Animated Film.

"The Social Network" continued raising the award statuettes: David Fincher was recognized as Best Director, Aaron Sorkin won the award for Best Screenplay and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won Best Original Score. In this way, the film about the birth of Facebook won in four categories and will probably be nominated for an Oscar.

Briton Colin Firth won the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) for his brilliant performance in "The King's Speech" while Natalie Portman was named Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) for her role in " Black Swan. " Following in the category of actors, Paul Giamatti ("Barney's Version") took the statuette for Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) and Annette Bening for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) for her performance in "The Kids Are All Right." Christian Bale in "The Fighter" won the award for Best Supporting Actor and Melissa Leo, who participated in the same tape, won the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Finally, two opposing points, "You Have not Seen The Last of Me", the film "Burlesque" was chosen as Best Original Song (one out of categories that makes less noise), while Robert De Niro was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille's career, one of the most important.

Turning to television, was "Glee" that washed away. Won the award for Best Series (Musical or Comedy) and two of its members were honored: Jane Lynch was chosen as Best Supporting Actress, while Chris Colfer took the statuette for Best Supporting Actor.

In the category of Best Series (Drama), the winner was "Boardwalk Empire", and Best Miniseries or TV Movie award went to "Carlos". Also with Steve Buscemi is the award for Best Actor in a Series (Drama) for her role in "Boardwalk Empire" and Katey Sagal was recognized for Best Actress in a Series (Drama) for her performance in "Sons of Anarchy."

Best Actor in a Series (Comedy or Musical) was for the talented Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory", while Laura Linney ("The Big C") won the award for Best Actress in a Series (Comedy or Musical). In addition, Claire Danes took the statuette for Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie for his performance in "Temple Grandin" and Al Pacino for Best Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie "You Do not Know Jack."
