Social commitment is an urgent and priority for Mexico, the need for more citizens get involved in stocks is a real work, being part and encourage more you are not an easy task, but a necessary.
One week is 10080 minutes, devoted to a citizen action, such as cleaning streets, residential sites, improve the lives of some people, or benefit our environment, such actions once a week just means 180 minutes (3 hours) we can as citizens to commit to spend a little of our time to our city .
What if all the inhabitants of Guadalajara (Guadalajara only) citizen action did 3 hours?
could be made more changes to the community because according to population counts, 2005 in Guadalajara Jalisco live 1,600,940 people (probably this figure is already higher) could perform 288,169,200 minutes of all citizens which supports far the city's urban development.
addition to these experiences help us grow as individuals and as citizens, on 4 September, I had the opportunity to attend a group called CITY FOR ALL, which it does is help and support urbanization of the city as well as encourage continued and no overpasses etc. .. this group is making it more attractive to some parts of the city through the construction of recycled furniture, planting flowers and trees, among other measures for the advancement of the city.
For me it was a fun activity that also learned a lot, I think that this sort of thing you put a grain of sand.
Attend is a good choice to support the ecology, your city, the planet.
Be part of change!
(Editor's note: not only the collective City For All involved in this project, there are the Town Alterna, Gdl en Bici, Jalisco Ecological Collective, among others. And above all, but more importantly, neighbors area and interested citizens in general).

One of the main aggravating is that the government leased out to private enterprise the work by signing it as collateral. This means that if during the course of the play there is some increase in the cost of it and the investors did not have the capacity to meet the cost would be the same government with our own taxes who will end up paying the building, being the only beneficiaries the investors, leaders and citizens who can pay $ 90.00 to cross the city when the minimum wage is $ 53.00.
is unimaginable damage that this government doing to us citizens to this great project as they call it where are the high levels of pollution, the preference for pedestrians and cyclists, recreational areas for families and children and the great cities of the world?
This viaduct is going through residential areas, the speed you are supposed to pass cars on the road is 90km/hr, we know few people who respect the speed limits on roads and less extensive than in Most are straight. The government has to take into account accidents that might happen along the way and the serious dangers of this for motorists and residents of surrounding areas where it would be the viaduct.
In our own city we have seen increases in crime in parts close to the bridges. Peripheral Avenue before crossing with Av Vallarta or Vallarta Av and Av Patria are clear examples where we see space used for graffiti, people who spend whole nights there not having a roof or late rounds of night.
Unfortunately, on the other hand we see cities like London have active 408km of metro lines used daily by more than 3 million people, smoothly and with greater security. Why instead of make a viaduct crossing the city was not built macro bus lines, light rail or enhanced public transport?
is time to put a stop to the government, not be allowed to continue to benefit their own interests and investors regardless of the consequences that will bring us as a city. As citizens we need to encourage the reduction of the car, if not start with the example ourselves, the rulers will never change their interests. We must avoid the traffic chaos grow in the metropolitan area, use public transport and encourage the preference for pedestrians and cyclists.
Avenue is a scar England through the city of North-West to South-East Why not think of it as a green spot with a sustainable transport and recreational spaces for families and children? Because the business would not be for them.
